Planner
A planner compares candidate actions against a goal using predicted outcomes. In V-JEPA 2’s robot experiments, the predictor evaluates candidate actions and the robot replans after each step.
Why it matters
Prediction becomes useful for choosing an action when it is evaluated against a goal. The cited robot results remain limited to the tested tasks.
